Buck Sightings...

Is it me, or do the Bucks seem to be a little more laid up this year... I have seen a few good Bucks taken, but not like normal... People that are usually on big deer aren't seeing them... Is that the case with anyone else, or is it just bad luck...??

I am actually seeing more bucks for this time of year than normal. A lot of good 2 1/2 year olds, maybe one 3 1/2, but nothing I am going to shoot in October.

I've seen lots of bucks so far. They are just too small. I figure that I have until December 31st to kill two bucks with a bow. Why waste it on a little guy. The big boys will be out as soon as they get that need for some lovin.

I've been seeing more. That is probably due to my skills improving more than anything else.

Some of my buddies were commenting on not seeing many deer this year in general, like feeding in feilds in the evenings and such, and I'm not seeing many either. I've only seen one buck this year and it was about a week before the season opened, but they're out there. Either that or there are a lot of mock scrapes and rubs!
