what do You use to check the wind?
Well what do yall use? Powder, floaters or what? I was useing baking flour in a old little lotion bottle. It broke (now I just hit my pack pocket[:@] lol) so I'm looking for something new. preferably found at home but I'll buy stuff if it's worth it. I would do a poll but I don't know what to put on it.
Thanks in advance for all replies. |

I use a windicator by H.S.. It's only $3. I got mine at Bass pro. Or you can probably make your own.

I throw grass up when I get there to determine the stand I will hunt. Got some thread tied on my stands to let me know while on stand.

7'' of dental floss tied on the end of my stabalizer; very durable and moves with the slightest breeze. I have used the same piece for 2 years now. HCH

what is windicator made of? I know what it looks like though, any Ideas for what you would use. I was thinking stuffing like from stuffed animals. mom made some pillows awhile back so I got some. it just seems to fall a little faster than I think would be ideal.
