RE: How far?

35yds on a clear open no wind shot on a NON-ALERT calm deer not looking my direction with NO buck fever or shakes. but i KNOW from target shooting ill break my own arrows that far all day long. i practiced long and hard to shoot groups at 35yds...if conditions are absolutely right ill take it if i know it will be my only shot. you gota learn yourself and your equiptment. just because i can shoot 35 doesnt mean you cant shoot at 45..or that you CAN shoot 35...but i wont do it unless conditions are like shooting a 3d target..which in the woods hardly ever happen. i usually setup in woods to thick to shoot that far anyways.

I regularly practice 50 yards. Don't want to do it, but have the pin and confidence to take it if it's all I've got. But must be an ethical shot, don't want to make coyote bait.
