Hows the mast crop in the midwest this year?

We've had back to back good years here in SC.

Looking for a little long range scouting help.

In MO & IL it is a little spotty this year, I see more red oaks with acorns than white oaks. Last year every tree in the woods was loaded.

Thanks...

Just what I was hoping to hear.

Down here where I hunted tonight in SC. I had to watch my step. It was like walking on marbles! Once I got up, it sounded like it was hailing until the wind laid down. More white oaks than I've ever seen in the section I hunted tonight.
