i went for the 4th {i made a post telling about my first 3 trips} well i crossed the river this time with my bowhunting buddey then walked to a tripod and sat there and grunted and rattled we called one decednt 4 +4 {the same one in my last story} and he came about 20yards and walked in to the trees i woud of shot but i was sitting on the bottom of the platform with my feet hanging down and there was a pole to my right so i coudent swing that was and that is were the deer wasso he got to walk then we went home

You learned a valuable lesson, you were unprepared for the shot or that particular shot. Be ready at all times. Good hunt tho, right?
