Ya'll Play NICE... I'm going hunting.
 

Well, in the wee hours of the morning I'm heading for NY for one last fling with their bow season. I took one there during the early bow and have another tag or two to fill. I'll stay over and gun hunt Monday with my highschool buddies. Yes there are other people as old as me. Always a fun trip with many lies and tall tales to go around. So, in my abscense behave yourselves.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

The weather man has changed his story again. Should be nice tomorrow, snow flurries Sat, rain/snow mix on Sunday, snow on Monday. I NEVER can go to NY and get a crisp sunny day. I don't believe they have them. When I was up for early bow in the Adirondacks it just poured on us for 3 of 4 days.

While I bowhunt my buddies stay in the hotel room and drink beer and watch football. Then at night I have to play &quot;designated driver&quot; and pour them all into a restaurant for dinner. Good thing I stopped drinking 17 years ago or they'd starve.<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> Lots of fun.... sometimes.... but a real fun trip. If I shoot a deer with the bow they always take it, so I call them on the cell phone to come and drag it out. Nothing sobers up three drunks faster than a mile drag off the mountain.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> They keep telling me not to shoot a big one.... they don't like to work to hard.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I hope the next one weighs 200 pounds and I'm not helping ONE bit.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> One year they'd had too much to drink to drive(the hotel is 20 miles from the woods) so I pulled it up in a tree and let them pull it out the next morning with a hangover. I laughed all the way off the mountain. Last year I had one of those deer sleighs... no fun at all... the things slide like greased lightning. They didn't even break a sweat.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> Have fun.... see ya'll Tuesday.
