Default What's the deal?

I finally decide to try and wrap some shafts with some arrow wraps for the first time, only to discover that the wrap doesn't go all the way around the shaft. There is like a 1/8" void where the wrap did not cover the shaft entirely. Surely that's not the way these things work?!? I followed the directions to the "T."

They are the EZE-CREST arrow wraps and the package says they are good for carbon, aluminum, and wood arrows. I'm wrapping aluminum!

What size aluminums? If they are a fatter diameter shaft then you mght need a wider wrap.

I'm guessing you're using a 23xx or 24xx shaft ? Even a 25xx ?

Wraps are more designed towards the carbon arrows of today, with many archers now shooting carbons

They are 2317 XX75's! I just left Bass Pro and I didn't see any "wider" wraps. They all appeared to be identical except for design!

You need the 1 1/4" wraps and it sounds like you got the 1" variety. Just fletch the cock vane on that seam and it won't be as noticeable....

Yeah, I guess you're right, they don't like me. But I'm using them anyway and I'll try and find some 1 1/4" ones soon! I just left Bass Pro and I didn't see the option of the bigger ones. Oh well!
