What do you fill yours with?
I have on of those HS wind puffer thingies.....Anyway, it's empty. I refilled it w/ corn starch, but that doesn't work very well.
What do ya'll use? |

i heard talc is supposed to work.i read one of the makers fill theirs with it..i suppose baking soda wouldwork pretty good as well.

A piece of dental floss 8 inces long tied onto the end of my stabalizer. I fray it so it is fluffy. Works awesome and is very durable and shows wind direction in the ever so slightest breeze. HCH

I fill mine with carpenters chalk. You know the kind you use to refil the string that carpenters would snap a chalk line with.

I use baking soda. It works well and humidity isn't too much of a problem.

cig smoke always tells the deer..I mean shows wind direction for me.

Find some milk weeds. Pick some pods and let them dry out. You'll have more than enough to check the wind fro an entire season.
