Default Things Are lining Up in Michigan

We've got snow, we've got a semi-circle moon, the temps have dropped! I've got the truck packed, everything de-scented and sprayed, and food preped. I leave for up north at 11:30 and the time can't go fast enough.

Any of you guys leaving today straight from work?

Things look good but not as good as down in my lease in IN so I give MI 2 weeks and nothing so change gears for the weekend. We will see how it gears down there. MI will be good this weekend this is like pulling teeth trying to figure out to leave or not.

Lol. Nope. I'd rather be in the woods than watch sports.

I just got in from this mornings hunt, was a nice brisk morning.

I had a little 8 and a monster button by me this morning. I had to leave the tree at ten, family commintments.

Well, let me tell ya about Indiana... no snow and 30 mph winds right now. I'd hunt Michigan if I had the option, but I won't be up there until gun season in November.... I will be up there by ya though, we will be in the Atlanta area.

Seriously though, it was hot all last week, then we got the cold front, but high winds for the last 3 days along with it. Tomorrow is suppose to be calm and low of 31 overnight, so I am hoping tomorrow is the morning that will get them out of their beds and into my freezer.

I do know that the first snow of the year is a good thing for Michigan hunters, sounds like you have quite a decision to make there Extremebone! Whereabouts in Indiana do you hunt? Another fact to consider, if you hunt Michigan, you don't have to pay the bucks for a non-resident license here.... (don't let me fool ya, I just want all the Indiana bucks for myself... heh heh [8D])

Atlanta is great for Turkeys! If you're going to be there you may want to look into a Fall Turkey tag.

Atlanta is also a great spot to bag an elk if you could ever get lucky enough to get drawn for a MI tag. I've hunted just a few miles north ofAtlanta for years. My parents are members of Canada Creek Ranch. Ever been to the El-bo Inn off M-33?
