new poll best luck from what type stand?
 

built in type,climber,portable,ladder,blind??? i shot my 2 biggest bucks out of my climber but have seen alot bigger deer from some large built in stands but never got the shot! what is your feeling on this?? im gonna quess climbers!

it doestn dpend on the stand if you ask me but where you are hunting i like the ol homemade box stands and have killed my biggest deer outta them

climbers are more portable but I have personally harvested more deer out of my ladder stand. Its probably the location instead of the stand.;)

built in= 1 buck
ladder=2 does and 1 buck
portable= 1 buck and 1 doe

Every deer I've shot w/ archery tackle, save 1, was shot out of a climber. But then again.......that's the only stands I own..[8D] The 1 that wasn't was shot out of my Matrix blind.

I like a permanent stand like I used to build on my neighbors farm.30 years ago.A place to sit and move a little more. Totally safe. Since moving to Florida I've shot all of my deer from a Summit Bullet Backpacker. My homemade ladder stand is not tall enough and squeaks a little ,

I have shot all 11 deer out of a portable or just standing on branches. Don't like the one dimensional side of climber stands. Lonewolf portable is the best stand I have found, and I have used about 7 different brands over the years.

I have shot quite a few out of my ladder stands but I also like my climber.. My climber is more comfortable but can sometimes be a pain. Both work good though. So far this year one from my ladder and one from my climber.
