I've tried shooting w/o a peep but the bowstring in front of my eye blocks my view.

Have been using a nock on the string for a back sight for years and works well. Just use th v formed by the string and nock for back sight and helps a lot in low light conditions. I was shown this by one of the best bowhunter's I know.

I shoot fingers - that'd be kinda hard to do.

If you're just stuck on using a peep then try the G5 Meta peep in the 1/4" diameter.

If your not stuck on usng a peep, then use either a no peep or just go peepless. You have to learn to adjust your anchorjust slightly to look around the string instead of through it but it can be easily done.

That is one of the several great reasons why I went to a No-Peep about six years ago and have been happy ever since.....
