Any Iowan's getting any deer?
 

I am in the military and am unforuntly not able to come back for the bow season so i have to live vicariosly through this web sight and all my fellow Iwegens. hope you are getting into them.

well i was out tonight and had some flurries coming down and i ended up seeing 12 deer, first night this year that it has been cooler. all the other nights it has been warm and have seen nothing, hopefully this weekend ill be replying back that i got one.

im in nw iowa, been seeing a lot of deer, and some good bucks, but just havent gotten one yet.

hunting right on the river and have seen 2 nice bucks swim over from Iowa ;)

They are giving out city tags to hunt deer over in davenport to thin the herd in town 90,000people...you have to hunt in certain areas along duck creek and afew other spots tho....havent herd of any success yet but i haven't talked to many about it

Lots of does but no shots. Sure wish the wind would blow; NOT!!!! HCH

I hunted last Sunday night when the wind first started blowing. Lots of does, no bucks. Did not get out this week due to work and high winds outside. Theweather is suppose to stabalize today. This week-end should be good with cool temps in the AM.

My buddy Todd whacked a beauty of a buck earlier this week in SE Iowa. Solid 10 pointer with a kicker. Probably in the 150" range. I'll let him post the photos when he gets around to it.
