Earlier this evening piebaldoe and a friend of mine went hunting together. Long story short, my friend shot a doe....at least he thought he shot one, and we just spent the last 3 hrs searching for any clues. Well, we found a 4inch piece of arrow with fletching on it and I was even fooled into thinking he had made a good hit. He just lost track of were the deer ran in a thicket after the shot. I just couldn't convince myself to blindly walk the woods without any blood sign, so I returned to the spot she was standing and found the rest of the arrow thanks to a coleman lantern. (learned that one on the forum) Absolutely no sign of a hit on the rest of the shaft and broadhead. Oh well, we all feel better now.:D

We think he hit a small twig and the arrow deflected into a oaktree, This is only his second year bowhunting and he still has a lot of learning to do. Actually my origional post should have said Piebaldoe took my friend hunting.:D
