Always have it, it stays in my pack untill I'm sitting when I pull it out and hang it on a hook. You can get good pics of stuff thats out of season, too far away, or the best is pics after a succesfull hunt, they turn out alot better when taken in the field, much better than a pic of a deer in the back of a truck.

im in photography class, i have learned alot about interesting pictures and how to take them. i keep my camera with me while hunting. anybody know about a camera that is 35mm film for under 100 bucks that doesnt make alot of noise while snapping the picture, so if i see a deer i can take a picture without them hearing it. i want to do wildlife photography as a hobby, but i need a camera that doesnt spook the wildlife.

Amen to that, field pics are much better than the back of a pickup.

I always have my camera along to take pics of other critters and deer. Just don't get caught with the camera in your hands when you wish you had your bow.

Here in Indiana, we're only allowed one buck. I got mine last year late October..and brought my camera with me the rest of the year...got many great pics of other bucks to show my buddies.

This year, it's with me every time..always in my jacket pocket.

I ALWAYS take my camera with me, I keep it in my day pack in case I score. I don't fiddle with it while I'm actually hunting though. ;)

Sometimes I remember to take the camera and sometimes I don't....so 50/50 but I always try to remember and take it.

I always take my camera. However, make sure you turn your flash off.
