Lil Bro's 1st deer w/bow
 

Here is a doe my Lil brother shot 2 nights ago with his bow. It is his 6th deer, but first with a bow. He is turning 14 yrs old in 2 weeks. I never even shot a deer until i was 14 yrs old, much less with a bow. I was proud of him, even though I wasn't there to see it. Him and my dad were sitting in a ground blind we had built, and had to watch her for 15 minutes before he could get a clean shot. When she finally presented a shot @ 20 yards, he put it right through the boiler room. Took out both lungs and part of the liver on a complete pass thru. She went 70 yards and piled up. He was shooting a Martin Jaguar, 50 lbs @ 27", with Gold Tip 5575, 100 gr. Scorpion XP broadhead. Here are some pics:

Way to go. My firt bow kill ended up needing about 3 easton xx75's to do the job. Good to see the young'ns learning to do it right the first time.
