First Buck With A Bow (Now WIth PICS!!!
 

Well today i decided to hunt my most favorite spot on earth (but it will be developed in the next year or so) any ways i got there today around 2:45 in the afternoon, Got on my stuff walked out to the field and headed to my spot.
I got half way across the field and there was a doe standing in the Field where i wanted to go in at thumbsdown.gif. So i turned around and went in to a different spot in the woods. Ended up jumping 2 walking in.
Finally got where i was going and found a tree and climbed up. About 4:30 i saw a deer in the woods heading toward me. So i stand up and to my suprise i hear a deer run right behind me! furious3.gif. I never new it was there. But the deer i was watching ended up going out to the Field (standing corn) and walk down the edge. It was a buck with about 4 or 5 small points. It went in to the corn and then a spike and 2 does come from behind me and they also went in the corn. Then another doe is walking toward me in the woods but she turned around and went back the way she came.
Now its like 5:30 and i can still hear the deer in the corn. then about 5:50 i hear deer running threw the corn and then i saw them jump in to the woods. The one doe stopped like 10 yds away behind me, There was a spike following her and he just stood RIGHT UNDER ME!!!! never new i was there.
But there was also still 3 deer behind me that i didn't now what there were. Well it ended up being a doe, 4 point, and a bigger buck, the 4 point walked on by me at about 25 yds and i new the bigger one would do the same. Sure enough here he comes. Walked the same path and i drew back tried to stop him but he didn't stop so i shot him while he was walking. and BAM i NAILED HIM!!!! i mean it was so perfect he jumped and ran to the Field and fell down got back up fell down again then got back up and ran in to the corn did a circle and fell down again, But this time it was for good!
After about a half hour i walked up to him and saw he was dead and saw he had a mess of points! he wasn't big like 11 inches high and about the same wide (on the inside) but he has 11 POINTS!!!! i am so excited!!
I will post pics when they are developed but i just had to post. And this is now my second deer with a bow but FIRST BUCK WITH A BOW!!!
He ran about 50 yds and went down, I actually saw him go down which was really cool, But i hit both lungs and the heart. Like i couldn't ask for a better shot.

Wow, CONGRATS!I bet you were surprised, My hopes would have been shattered spooking deer on the way in. Great job, cant wait to see the pics.

Oh man, congrats on the first buck! I'm still lookin' to get my first with a bow, let alone something with over 10 points! Can't wait for those pics!!!

Thanks guys. And for spookin them walkin in in that woods your garenteed to spook them or at least if you want to go to where i was huntin tonight.

Now even though he has 11 point he aint all that big like i said. But sure is PLEANTY Big enough for me!!!!
