Site Performance?

Better? Worse? No change?

Washington Hunter 10-05-2006 02:52 PM

RE: Site Performance?

No change really, but it was working fine for me to begin with.

The only thing I notice that is the same as last time is that it takes up to 30 seconds sometimes to refresh the page after I make a post.

I'm not complaining though.

RE: Site Performance?

i have noticed it is much quicker, im happy it with it other than losing those posts. I can actually tell a big difference, it may just be me but the pages open much faster for me. :Dsorry if that was a little repitative,my mind is on going hutning in a few[8D]

Seems a little better, but I wanted to let you know.

When you error page comes up we see

database name, database user name.

Just need to change the way the exception is handled and what is thrown.

Looks about the same to me. Some posts seem to go fast and others take about 30 seconds to refresh.

On my dsl it seems about the same. Can't tell much of a difference....I was only 1 post away from 900 as well. lol.....time to start building up again....

MountainHunter 10-05-2006 03:13 PM

RE: Site Performance?

Seems significantly faster now to me. Shame about the lost posts.

MichaelT. 10-05-2006 03:22 PM

RE: Site Performance?

Well If this post takes it will probably be better. In posting before, I would only get maybe 1 out of 4 to go through, and I would have to try again, and again, and again. Here's hoping.

YEAHHHHHHH ! It worked.

RE: Site Performance?

Not much different to me. Maybe a touch faster. I didn't really notice too many problems before though. Too bad we lost bamas' "form" thread![8D];)

RE: Site Performance?

It seems like I'm navigating through the threads and posts better but the quality of the pics has gone down. There's a pic on the naked wife thread that's pretty rough.....

It seems to be faster, although I've only been here a few days!Just long enough to have my entire existance wiped out!I had to re-join! Oh well looking forward to becoming a long time member of Huntingnet!

It took me forever to get in! I kept trying my password and it wouldn't let me use it, but it's been doing that to me, it's happened a couple of times in the last few weeks... so I dunno.

We'll see how things go, seems to be more efficient.

Same here. Some times it's 100x faster than before. And yet I've had a few times where it seems like it takes 30 sec to load a page or post a reply.

RE: Site Performance?

seems the same or slower to me, but like my old buddy TDWW says

My mind works in ways that can't be understood. I just got a bigger motor. With endless possibilities. It's breathtaking to watch but I also know it will ultimately, be my ruin.
so i kind of expected it[&o]

;)

j/k seems to be doing better for me;)

I think its faster in page loads, except when posting a reply. Then its about the same as before.
