RE: Field Dressing Technical Questions
Butch A: If you've never done one it's going to take a little longer than 4 to 10 minutes. Go slow, don't cut the gut, explore and learn a little something about anatomy while you're there and dirty anyway. Each one you do gives you a little more practice and you get the feel for how to use the knife, hands etc. Maybe after 20 or so you'll do it in 4 minutes. I take my time and go slow if I have nothing to do and no place to be in a hurry.
