where are the bucks?need advise read please
 

hey guys i am in n.c and a long time bowhunter usually i have filled sevral of my tags by now i have been on say maybe 9 morning hunts and 8 evening hunts i have seen 15 deer within 20 yards all have been does not even 1 button head in the bunch most of these does had only 1 baby with her with the exception of 1 which had 3 with her i have hunted pine thicket,hardwood acorn ridge ,and a clearcut hav enot seen any buck yet i know when the rut comes in the bucks will be there but where are they now?really puzzles me i have never had this happen to me before.bachelor groups should be breaking up now shouldnt they?any feed back would be great.thanks

Be patient and give it time.
As soon as the rut kicks in, you will be seeing alot of bucks trailing all those does that are all around your stand right now. What might be a cold spot at present could be chock full of bucks within a few weeks or months...
Give it time and dont give up!

I'd say stay on those does for a little bit longer and he'll be following them in. Don't overhunt any one spot though.

Little early for the bachelor groupsto be breaking up. Give them a couple weeks.
