How many hunters use tinks or any other brand of scent for the bottoms of there boots, ive been using red fox pee, its got a pretty strong smell is this a good thing or bad, dont wanna use something that might spook the deer, just wanted to see what ever one thought about this and to see what everyone else is using

What it comes to scents you cant be too carefull. But you dont want to use a scent that deer arent familiar with. If you dont have Fox in your area, dont use fox urine. And dont use an anti-soil such as coon urine. Deer will pick that up right away. Try to stay with natural cover scents that are in your area. Try the acorn scent wafers, fresh earth wafers, pine, etc. These are natural in just about every hunting scenario.
