RE: no hunting on sunday?
It falls in with the old "Blue Laws" of some states. It's nothing new, actually it's quite old. Similar laws also prevent the sale of alcohol on Sunday; alcohol and hunting: BAD, fishing and football: GOOD... Go figure!

I heard it too..... It's the most bogus law I ever heard, this is 2006 and in the land of the free. If it was in another county I wouldn't be surprise but in the United states, man, very hard to believe but it's true. Why don't they just shut down the whole state for that day. Luckly, I don't live in that state or I will move in a heart beat.

RE: no hunting on sunday?
Im in Massachusetts. No hunting on Sundays here. However, they did repeal the "No Beer on Sundays" blue law a few years back. So, at least we can buy some beer on sundays now. Maybe they will repeal the sundays no hunting rule here soon also. I kinda doubt it though, seeing as how liberal a state MA is.

Well, here in WV you can hunt on Sunday according to the DNR.
BUT... most counties do not allow it. The individual county can overule the DNR allowing the Sunday hunting. There are no counties anywhere near me that allow it

Here in PA, we can't hunt on Sundays. I wish we could though....between school and homework and busy stuff like that, I usually don't get to hunt a lot except for Saturday. If we were allowed to hunt on Sunday to make it a whole weekend on hunting, then that would be awesome.
