solar charger for game cams
 

How well do the solar charges work in running a game camera? I have a Moultrie 1.3 mp camera and am looking at getting the moultrie solar charger with one of their rechargeable batteries. My cameras are set up in fairly shady spots but still get occasional sunlight, will they still work very good?

yes, they will. I have three moultrie cameras with rechargable batteries and solar chargers. They have been taking pics for two weeks now, over 1800 pictures total, and keeping a full charge. I would recommend doing it, because regular 6v batteries, with the number of pics I am taking, at 7.00 a pop gets expensive since they only last about 2 days each. You can get 6v rechargable batteries for 9.00 each, and solar chargers for 20.00 each.
