Shoulder Injury-Need Info

Just as I am completing my bow draw, my bow arm shoulder audibly pops. This doesn't seem to be rotator cuff related. The source of the popping, and disconcerting pain, I might add, is on the back of my shoulder. This doesn't seem to be accompanied by any loss of strength, just sudden fairly sharp pain just as I lock into full draw. I would describe the area of pain as my rear deltoid muscle. As I indicated, this is not my drawing arm/shoulder it is my bow holding arm/shoulder. Anyone else ever experienced this and if so, what, if anything, did you and your health care provider do about it? Thanks

I wouldn't let it go too long. Schedule the appointment to have it checked out. The last thing you want to do is risk more severe damage and/or possibly ruining your season.

as far as your exact pain, I'd do some research on the web. There's so much info out there on shoulders, I would not be surprised at all if you find a match.
