Right under my tree
 

Tonight I had a doe and 2 fawns come in. The doe got within 10 yards while the fawns went right underneath me.

The 3rd time the flash went off, the other fawn acted a little nervous. But, the funny thing is my Cuddeback is 50 yards away, and I watched them stand in front of it with the flash going off taking pictures of themfor 10 minutes. It must only spook them when the flash is coming from 15 feet above them rather then right in front of them. lol

It's not all about the killing. ;) I watch and pass 100's of more deer than I will ever actually think about shooting.

I was wondering which one you shot too?
In Iowa we can get plenty of Doe tags so I would've shot.

Well its early season and this is when i am shooting my does. I put 3 or 4 in the frezzer every year. We eat a pile of venison. I am not going to shoot a doe in late Oct or Nov in fear of what may be behind her. I think we all pass on a pile of deer every year, but if I want a eater doe this is when i am letting the air out of one.

I shootevery deer that comes under me. But thats only because im lucky if i ever get more than one or two deer near my stand at all:D
