Carhartt camo
I take a friend of mine's son hunting because he is new to hunting and his farther lives out of state. He just told me his military camo that he was using last yearwas accidently thrown away with some old clothes. He can't aford much to buy some new stuff so i got thinking and i thought maybe i could modify an old jacket into some camo.here is a few pics
![]() here is a couple as an image in a tree ![]() ![]() Here is a ground shot of his back ![]() What do you think ? will this work or what else should i do to it ? |
RE: Carhartt camo
Make the brown lines, black and you stand a chance. Deer don't see in color as we see it. To a deer, the browns are going to look too alike and blend making it stand out. Here it is as deer would perceive it in bright daylight or dichromatic.
![]() As you can see, you need more contrast. |
RE: Carhartt camo

try takeing some screen camo that u can buy in walmar cut it in 4"-6" strips with leaf type patern and superglue the center of the screen to the jacket go vertical with it makes for great depth perception as well as color
