Any Missouri Hunters?
 

I'm looking at possibly buing some land in Daviess County, about halfway between Kansas City and the Iowa border. I checked out harvest numbers but that doesn't really tell you a whole lot regarding the quality of bucks. Any info would be appreciated.

That part of the state should be FANTASTIC! You should encounter a truck load of deer, depending on where you are of course, and being that close to Iowa and Kansas there are bound to be some monsters there. If you are looking for public ground, check out www.missouriconservation.org and click on the atlas. From there you can check out all public ground county specific.

I hunted conservation ground up in Kirksville, and saw a monster 8-point, but was about 50 yards away. There are some huge deer in northern missouri.

Hunting the bottoms here in MO and saw a thirteen pointer the other day
