Good Deal?
I went and shot this morning at the local Gander mountain. While I was there the proshop guy and the store manager came up and were discussing selling their old block targets. The manager gave the ok to get rid of them but to get something for them. I ended up leaving with a medium size used Block target (2.5'x4'). It was in very good shape except for about a three inch hole in the backside where they had to cut out a broadhead. This hole was down at one end so the majority of the target was in very good condition. He said they are $300 brand new and I got it for $75. Was that a good price for a used target or should I have saved my money?

RE: Good Deal?
Are you talking about the 3d target which i think is called the glenndale buck? If so then you got a good deal. The regular block targets are not $300 brand new and if its just the regular block then that isn't the best deal you have probably ever gotten.

RE: Good Deal?
dang thats a BIG target! if nothing else you could use it as a backstop...but something that big should stop arrows forever...

RE: Good Deal?
A 2.5 ft x 4 ft target is not medium sized. That is a large target. If it is a block target in real good shape, like you say, and it is that big, you did not get hurt. A 4 ft. target is big enough to use as a backing target.

RE: Good Deal?
I think that is a good deal that thing should last you for years and years to come.

RE: Good Deal?
It is the Range Block. They also had the Super Range which is 4'x4' but those were mostly spoken for by the pro shop guys. This one will last us quite a while anyway. These were their back stops for the rangewith five spot targets stuck to them.
