just freshened up my prime ground blind. first 2 are looking at it and the last is looking out from blind from where 1st pic was taken from.

awesome..dad and i used to make something like that. we used all dead wood though. the vegitation dies and makes alot of noise we found. though itll help you bowhunting. we riflehunted from ours. our best one was in a funnel/bottleneck..it was a sapling thicket that was maturing. survival of the fitest..stongest survived. best example was there. the weak trees were all dying out. we had lots of long straight wood about 3-5 inches thick. we used a BIG old tree that was there as our base..worked out nicely. every year the thing would sink and wed add another couple layers. just watch the vegitation and becarefull not to bump it when it dies..looks good!

i dont know about doughboys reason on no treestand..but that pic is on state land and cant leave a stand there..also its close to 2 miles from the truck. but i will be bowhunt the general area...i just bought a summit viper for that task. rifle season there isnt such a NEED to be in a tree. i cant count how many deer we killed from that spot..all of them within bow range too
