A while back I bought a set of posters from the Deer Shack. They dealt with anatomy, blood color from various wounds, a hair chart, etc. One of the posters which was very unique disected a real deer to show exactly where different organs were. I have some of them hung up in our cabin. Very good set.

I'd also recommend "Finding Wounded Deer" by John Trout I believe. It is looked at as the Bible of recovery. I don't think there is anything in his book that I'd disagree with.
