went out and shot some arrows i got refleched

Well this afternoon i went out and shot my bow i got my arrows refleched and really like how they turned out started gettin my bow sighted in about 20 yards movin my sight to where it needed to be and was very impressed with my shooting, I should have took pictures, but i forgot to take some with my phone. well now i have 3 arrows that i need to get refleched i guess i should start to shoot different spots on the target but i love to be able to shoot groups that touch. Well as the story goes i only have 5 arrows and now i am down to 2 untill i get my others refleched. I really need to buy a new dozen of arrows but i know i dont want them to be cut as short as the ones that i have because i had to lengthen my draw quite a bit and my arrows that i had came with my bow so now they just barely are ahead of the rest oh well i guess i will just shoot these five arrows and until i destroy them or get the money to buy some more i guess i will just have to do with what i have, maybe christmas will come early this year and I can get some. Also what are some tough flechings i beleive i have vane tech on right now but my quick spins i had on before seemed a little tougher well just hope that someone has some sungestions. thanks for listening to my short essay.

blazers seem to be very tough. i passed a couple through a bag and my 3 inch foam BH target. i passed the same arrow through the bag 2 times in a row. still shoots great. i put a FP through 1 blazer vane..put a 1/4 tear in it perpindicular to the shaft..still shoots good. i was surprised it still shot good. but it does. i left 5-6 arrows in the case after shooting them once to test them. ill shoot them all 1 more time with the broadheads this weekend and make sure they all fly true..but they are all perfect and im keeping them that way for hunting. my target arrows are looking a little beat..but all still shooting good. oh ya....cept the one i sliced off with a BH.....[:-]

You may want to think about buying you a fletching jig, too... Bitzenburger makes what's widely held to be the best on the market.

Not sure how much you're paying for refletching, but I would think it wouldn't take too long to pay for itself!

Congrads on the good shootin', by the way!

I pay 1.25 per arrow to get refleched, i think i might go with blazers next time what does anyone else think of them?
thanks Greg.

I like the Blazers because they are quieter than the longer vanes, and they do seem to be pretty tough.

I agree with Greg 100%. Not only will it save you money in the long run, but it is a nice way to spend a rainy day or whatever. It is always nice to work on your own stuff... IMO.

Bohning's 3" Low profile's work great. I keep puting them THROUGH a bag about 20 to 30 times, and still no change in flight, highly suggested.
