thanks for the responce...me and my bud have taken out some bucks from that unit (with a rifle). Nice area and probably going to get even better quallity now that its not over the counter anymore...congradulations again

rockymountain_hunter .........I hunt on private land (relatives) so I don't participate in the public land draw. I did hunt the state land around Unit 36 several years ago. Over the past 8 or 9 years I've noticed fewer andfewer hunters around the gas stations, motels, restaurants, casino, etc. I'd have to think the deer numbers will increase and perhaps the quality.....but I have to believe the state is really taking a beating on lost revenues due to fewer hunters. I'm curious how locals feel about this.....?
