Range Finder???
I think my wife is going to get me a range finder for my B-Day but I have to pick one out.I know nothing about range finders so I need suggestions. Not sure if it matters but I hunt in fairly thick woods and probably wont get a shot over 35 yards.Myself I probably wont try one over 25 yards.

I have a $150 Bushnell Yardage Pro. It's a cheap one but it seems to work Great.

RE: Range Finder???
So why do you need a rangefinder if you are in thick woods and not shooting over 25 yds.??

RE: Range Finder???
I'm new to bowunting and figure it will help cut down on guessing yardage.Plus my birthday is a good time for me to get one.

RE: Range Finder???
Most range finders don't range within 10 yards. You probably be better off just training yourself to identify 15, 20, 25, 30 yard points.

RE: Range Finder???
What's your budget? I have the Nikon 440, cost around $200, water resistant, compact, and it will range out to 400 yards, probably less for a deer sized target. All you'll ever need for archery hunting anyway.
