Confidence Decoys

Does anybody use confidence decoys for deer hunting? Maybe a couple turkeys at the other end of the field. Something to give a buck a little comfort to step out before dark.

I thought about trying this back in Sring gobbler. I had 2 deer trying their darndest to get my montana tom turkey decoy to move. Funny thing is it is 2d, so it would "Dissapear" on them as they stomped around it. They'd walk away, and circle back into it. It may work???

I have done this in the past with mixed success. I plan to do it a good bit this year out of the ground blind though.

I thought about this tatic also, I read a book titiled ( Whitetail Deception ) and there is a paragraph about using decoys ( Deer & Turkey ) .
One sentence stated that the decoy make the deer feel more at ease and be more willing to continue walking thru that area.
I have some turkey decoys and I just might use one or two this fall just to see if it works.
