What does everyone eat while on stand?
 

Not sure if this was already posted so I apologize if it was. Just wanted to know what everyone eats while sitting on stand. If I'm out in a stand all day I usually take sandwiches but leave out the condiments because I thought the mustard or mayo would be a foriegn scent.

Mayo and mustard can't be any more foriegn than ham or turkey and wheat bread. It would be alot cheaper if cured hams and roasted turkey breast were running around the woods instead of wild hogs and turkeys though.:D

I usually take a granola bar with me and a bottle of water. I usually go in for lunch so its not a big problem.

venison jerky and breakfast bars and a gallon of water i set on a pull string to refill my bottle

Anything I can find in the fridge. I don't worry about the smell, if you keep it in a ziplock and close it back up when your finished.

I usually eat a good breakfast in the cabin and then come back for lunch. I can't miss the mountain meals. No matter what is cooked, it is the best food you'll ever eat. I guess it has something to do with just being out there.

Nothing usually...poweraid or water to drink. I worry about food once back at the camp. I've been called a fanatic before. ;)

Ususally nothing. But, there are times I plan long hunts or all day hunts when out of state. On those days I carry a mixed bag of a couple apples, granola bars, Reese cups and maybe some power bars. I always carry water. And then there are the majority of the times where I just end up EATING CROW.[&:][&:][&:]
