Finally Some Good Buck Pics
 

This weekend, I checkeda game camera and it was full of pics. 7-8 different bucks, and 4-5 shooters. This buck was the best, and there was 4 game camera pics of him. I have video footage of him, from early August. He has a distinctive deep-forked G-2 on his right side, matching kickers on the G-3's and a split browtine.

Very nice bucks. I am surprised that the bucks in Kansas have already shed their velvet. I was out this weekend helping a buddy put up his stand and we saw 2 bucks...both still had their velvet on. I can't wait until Saturday!!!

My wife is actually hunting the early Muzzleloader season. We were out hunting this past weekend, and it rainednearly the whole time. The deer movement was minimal. And the bucks we seen weren't what we're looking for. But we're heading out this next weekend. Hopefullythe weather can hold out, and she can connect.

Thanks Guys... Greg, the buck from last year was actually sited a couple times, back in May. But he's disappeared since then. Last year he did the same thing. But most of the deer, including him, winter in the same area every year. So I probably won't hunt much after him, until Nov-Dec. Until then, I have this guy to hunt after!!!

Hey man, good luck to you and your wifeon those bucks -you're always on somehigh quality whitetails.That buck from last year was tremendous, and I'd really like to see you get a crack at him. You're probablymaking a good decision in not disturbing him until the rut - hopefully he makes a mistake at that time.
