stay out or hunt it
 

i need some help here i was out in the woods on 2 different days and missed a shot on 2 different deer 1 on fri morning and one this evening. i am not waiting for them to come closer never got a deer with a bow yet. my question should i let the spot sit for a while or hunt it as usual i see deer all the time there but no shots avail....( ptretty thick area) i hunt on the outskirts of a horse farm what should i do???? also does anyone have an opinion on the primos call the "lil can"

I'd give it a couple of days to cool off. You hit an area to hard and the deer start patterning you.

You gotta be careful.....deer wise up pretty quick if you over hunt a stand. I would let the stand cool for a few days.

First of all let the area cool for a bit, second unless I am misunderstanding your post you say you are not waiting for them to come in closer, the closer the better, it is hard on the nerves, but you should only take shots you are sure of. Please, I am not berating you, just offering some advice. Good Luck.
