Default Twisting sight

This is one of those "stupid questions" that are obvious to the guys that have been doing this a while. I have a bow with a new string and just got one of those rear peep sights that doesn't require the rubber tube. Now that I've shot about 100 arrows, the sight is beginning to twist so this I can't see through it. I'm guessing this has something to do with the string stretching. Can anyone tell me how to fix it? Should I take it to the shop to have them adjust it?

Take it in to the shop and have them adjust it for you.

What brand of strings are on your bow? You may want to invest in a better set after this year's season is over.

Actually..I just had the same problem fixed today at my archery shop. I am not sure if it is the strong streatching or what, but I wanted to get the problem fixed ASAP so I could resight my bow in.
After replacing the peep, I was a full foot low @20yds.

I hate to take it to the shop because they are a 45 minutes each way. Anybody know a home remedy?

Are you shooting with a string loop? If yes, simply turn it around the string to line up the peep.

If not, you'll need a press.

Rob,
I've got a string loop. Thanks for the tip. I'll try it out.

If necessary, you may have to position the loop so the peep turn correctly when you are at full draw. You'll get it.

I had the same problem. Brand new bow, peep rotating during the shot.

Start rotating by hand your peep before the shot. Shoot for a bit doing that. (another 100 shots or so) Soon you will find yourself no longer needing to adjust the peep. (that is if it is not 90 degrees or more out of sync) If 90 degrees or more, just have your pro shop turn you peep and repeat the steps above.

Strings don't stretch out after only 100 shots. (99% of the time)
