Muzzys and Field Points -- Finally!
 

Well, as some of you might recall I made a post last week asking for help with getting my Muzzy's to hit with my field points.

Despite the fact that no one really came forward with any helpful information, I finally got them to hit with each other.





Two are tipped with field points one is tipped with a practice Muzzy. They were hitting so close that they were bouncing off of each other, hence the angles of the arrows. I busted another nock before I took my camera out.

good to see you solved the problem, now just fling a muzzy at a deer and youll be all set.

i too had the same problem....and 35yds my pics would look similar to yours finally! i cant wait. after all the fussing and hearing the fp shaft slam into the BH shaft at 35yds i smiled and prayed it wasnt a robinhood....already had on i dont need another! but i knew they were close...and that made my day...im ready.......

Never could get the Muzzy's to group w/my field points. Switched to Magnus Stingers....
Problem solved!
Congrats on getting it all straightened out, though. I'm a big beliver in the idea that there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to equipment - just whatever works for you!

Well Tarheel, this is the last year I'm shooting Muzzy.

I had planned on switching over to Magnus Stingers this year, but wasn't able to. Next year I definitely will.

i need to get my new bow out and shoot a few i have my parker ready the mathews just needs to be shot more

I switched from Blackhawk to Gold Tip shafts andwondered ifmy Muzzys were still hitting with my field points. I checked it outyesterday. The answer is yup. Glad I learned early to shoot the BH first then the field points or I probably would have sliced a few vanes ;)
