Quivers?
Ok all of you i want to know if you use kiwkee kwivers, or a quiver that stays on your bow. And are quivers that stay on your bow quieter because they have more support attached to the bow or what? Just curious cuz i might get a new quiver.

RE: Quivers?
2-piece quivers seem to be quieter (although not completely quiet), but man are they heavy!
I like/use the Fuse quiver. I take it off when I get in my stand, and hang it on a "turkey foot" - a 3-prong hanger that screws into the tree. Quikee Quivers are good, too...although I think they're more rigid and more likely to make noise...especially when cold..... But...then again, I don't shoot with my quiver on the bow (remember the part about me taking it off and hanging it on a "turkey foot?"), AND the Quikee Quiver is much less expensive than the Fuse. Good luck! |
RE: Quivers?
I have used a kwikee quiver for years and love it. I also take it off of my bow when I shoot. I made a mounting bracket that I screw into the tree to hang my quiver. They also sell them for a couple bucks. I couldn't tell you how loud it is because I have always shot with it off. It's a well built quiver and you can't beat the price.

RE: Quivers?
i got an Alpine Soft Lok 3 arrow quiver. pretty slick design. its held on by rubber which helps with vibration i think. ive shot it on and off and theres no diffrence. something does make a slight barely noticeable noise when shot with it on...i think its the arrows vibrating but will investigate farther. i am buying the attachment that screws into the tree..but when on state game lands i cant screw into trees...so ill leave it on or hang it somehow. i like it..seems like a good quality quiver and does its job..
