I have been looking at these things for a while now.
They look like they could be very helpfull in finding you arrow after a not so sure of a shot.
After reading a few of these post .
I may just give them a try

Heres a video clip of a archery hog hunt I filmed in Florida this past March with my friend Rod Luke and Captain Mark Bennett. We met Mark when we hired him a few years ago to guide us Tarpon fishing in Florida. At that time he was not a hunter and had little interest in getting into it. Well after a few more fishing trips and lots of talk he bought a Hoyt Trycon, learned how to shoot it and well the next step is on the video clip.It was Captain Bennetts first bowkill and really caught the excitement that goes hand in hand with a bowhunters first kill. Captian Bennett had a lumennock and while it was a little light and not as bright as the video they shot the other day it was still pretty cool.
If you look close at the picture below you can see Bennett'slumenock sliding into the pigs heart. It was a perfect shot!

Heres the video they shot the other evening. This is bright!

Here is a thread on AT that has info on homemade stuff, including lighted nocks. Hope it helps.
