Matthews Bow Question?

I come across a usedMatthews MQ-32 that has been shot less than 50 times. The guy wants $350 for it. It has a pend.sight and quiver on it which I will remove and not use. Is this a good buy for this bow?

Offer him $300....it depends on how bad you want it...that was a expensive bow in it's day...looks like a deal at $350.

Thanks, I shoot a Hoyt butthought if it was a good buy and a quality bow I would pick it up for a back-up bow and something to tinker with.

I finally made the jump from my old PSE bow which was always "good enough", to a Mathews Switchback XT....and never looked back. It's like night and day, and definitely worth the money in my opinion. With that said, most bow manufacturers are making good quality bows these days, so a new bow doesn't have to be a Mathews or a Bowtech.

But I always have to chuckle when someone mentions Mathews being overrated....when just about every major manufacturer has a Mathews look alike...solo cam, parallel limb design, etc. I guess they really do "Lead the Way".

IL, around here that bow and setup wouldbe gone in less than adayat aproshop.

In any type of sale, the law of supply and demand prevail.

I agree with Rob, offer him $300.00.

I say shoot what you like and feel good shooting. If your on stand and have become proficient with your bow (no matter what brand) you will kill what your hunting.

It is a really good deal if you are looking to get a bow or a backup. I bought the same bow last year and love it, not alot of difference between it and the new ones (at least not 500- 600 dollars worth).
