where to hunt in high wind???

The wind is forecast to be 20 to 30mph for the next two days. Any thoughts on where to find the deer. I did not see a single deer today(high winds 25mph). I figured they would be laying low today. With the rut getting geared up the I don't see the deer staying bedded for 3 straight days do you? Or will the buck stay bedded next to the doe??

Well when the rut is on the deer will move in wind or not.... you just need to be more carefull with where you set up buck's walk into the wind most of the time

bassmaster's right. strong winds or not, the deer around here move in the afternoon anyway. 2 nights ago I rattled in a very nice 8 point buck in 20 MPH winds. And he came from straight down wind. Scented me at 60 yards and was gone. Try setting up with the wind quartering away from where you think the bucks are. You might get lucky, but watch your back and don't smoke a cig like I did! LOL
