This will be my fifth year. I hunted 1995 to 1998 and then took off 8 years for college/marriage and a new job. Now this year I am back in it and couldn't be more excited.

15th for me. It's so much fun I don't even bother getting gun tags anymore. I just help my friend, who is a taxidermist, skin out deer. Get to hear a lot of stories that way. He has a lifesize mount with The Kansas King Repos on it(THEY SCORE 217 in). It is amazing how many guys will tell us they saw a bigger one than that in the woods. Yeah Right!!!

This is the start of my FIFTIETH YEAR. I have never purchased a biggame gun tag of any kind but respect those that have chosed gun hunting as their sport. I have been fortunate to have taken more Whitetails than I can remember, Mule Deer, Sheep, Black Bears, Elk, Caribou, Several types of Exotic Deer, and my year round Bowhunting of WILD HOGS. I have been blessed with many Bowhunts in many places and now my son & Daughters are going with me now-Iknow that makes my Bowhunting even more enjoyable. I am really looking forward to this Deer season as 2 Daughtrers will be Bowhunting & one going along to see what it's like. Oh, their choice, not mine. I just taught them to shoot (& buy the tackle,hah). It's up to them if they want to do the Bowhunting.
If any of you have HALF the experiencs I have had you will be blessed.
The man upstairs has made my Bowhunting a fantastic journy.

2nd year for me....last year was a good year....didn't harvest a deer, but learned alot.....this year I hope I will get my 1st. I am ready to go......come on Oct.16
