Big Boy

Buddy got this on his cam and a few that were just a bit smaller about a mile south of where I hunt.

What do you think he scores?

G3s and G4s compaired to the other pics. the spread looks a little wider also. is it just me?? what do you guys think. like i said great great pics

That first buck is a bonafide stomper of a Wisconsin buck! Just a guess, but sure looks like familiar country.

I wish we had a choice at bucks like that around here...man those are some bruisers..

Shockwave 09-01-2006 11:40 AM

RE: Big Boy

The first 3 all look like the same deer to me ... compare the lengths of the g4's and it sure looks like #2 is the same as 1 and 3. He's gotta measure right around 150". Good mass and really nice G2's and G3's.

Good luck with him! ... Shockwave

James Vee 09-01-2006 12:09 PM

RE: Big Boy

If you guys took two seconds to look at the time stamp you would see that the second and third pictures are only 14 seconds apart. The first picture was taken six days previous, but is definitely the same buck. The fourth picture is of a different, smaller buck. All great bucks, and all nice pictures.

Matt/TN 09-01-2006 01:05 PM

RE: Big Boy

they are the same

Looks 170 to me.

jmbuckhunter 09-01-2006 06:34 PM

RE: Big Boy

I'd say 155- 160, he sure likes apples. Can you hunt over bait there? If you can I'd have a stand there and get in it before he comes along. Be veeeeeeeery careful about the wind. He didn't get that big by being stupid.

pjhunts 09-01-2006 07:01 PM

RE: Big Boy

I'm with GregH, I think he will come close to the 170 mark, very nice deer

WOW awesome bucks!!!

blondiez24 09-03-2006 11:29 PM

RE: Big Boy

i would say that deer is around 150" it looks to me like it is only a 3 1/2 year old! I would let him walk! His next couple years will be his biggest! The second buck looks like maybe a high 130 or maybe 140. He has longer g4's than the first buck. Let em walk kill a mature one!

Rack-attack 09-04-2006 07:12 AM

RE: Big Boy

Let em walk kill a mature one!
LOL...............................

The deer grosses over 160................

Oh lord............let em walk because he is young.............[:'(]

blondiez24 09-04-2006 01:45 PM

RE: Big Boy

I was saying if you wanna kill a boonie thats a mature buck you have to pass up ones like that! I would rather shoot an inferior older buck than a young good genetic buck! Me and my dad do this on our farm and it has yeilded some great results! I don't think that deer would go over 160 either! once the velvet sheds it will look smaller. He will be pushing 160 maybe in the 150's, but i don't think he is a 160. Sorry if i offended you

SharpShooter270 09-04-2006 06:56 PM

RE: Big Boy

I would say a rought score of 170-180
