2 1/2...similar to one i shot i rough scored mine at 116 but that was me so im sure it could give or take 10 or so inches...idk. But yes i would definitely shoot any day i could, especially with a bow, this is a trophy animal in my book.

Do you like that deer? Have you ever gotten one that size or larger? Ask yourself these questions and decide if that deer will make you happy.

thats a good deer i agree with the 100-110 It might be hard to pass up if the deer in your area dont get very big or if it was getting close to the end of season, good buck in my eyes anyway.

I would say 2.5 yr old buck score around 100- 105 I would let this one live for A year or two

An eight point buck with a spread like that , yea I would shoot it .
I would say he's about tow years of age and he might score around 115 to 120.
Nice buck good luck on shooting him this fall.

Me personally no i would not shoot, but for you if it is your biggest buck yet to date then most diffentently or if it just makes you happy then that is what its all about. If he was on my land give him two more years.. Walt

On the public land where I hunt...you'd better shoot him or someone else would. However, if I had my own land...like others have said...I'd let him grow.

someone didn't shoot him last year so that theory doesn't hold water.

I agree to the size (100-105) and age 2 1/2 and for me he is not a shooter. But if he makes you happy go for it.

That deer is a 2 1/2 and he scores closer to 120 than he does 100. If you like him, take him. If you're not sure, pass him. Pretty good approach.

In 15 years of hunting all over the state of Michigan that would be the second biggest buck I've ever seen. I'd shoot him in a heartbeat.

I shot a 14.5" wide 2.5 year old in 2002 that went 90" as an 8 point. The one pictured has quite a bit on mine in the tine length category. I would bet high 11X's". With that said, I would shoot him on opening day with a bow for sure..........he would be my best best buck yet. I have seen quite a few that were much bigger but haven't connected yet.

I'd shoot him in a heartbeat, but I hunt an area where that guy would be considered a monster. I'd love to hunt somewhere someday where I'd have to think twice about him!!!
However, if you've seen bigger and better where you are, it all comes down to personal choice, how patient you're willing to be, and how happy you'd be with his rack on your wall.

yes, I shot the same deer last year. (mainframe 8pt with 2 kickers, gross 112"/net 108")
