Finally, a decent buck shows himself
 

I've had my cameras out working for well over a month now and finally got a photo of a shooter buck. This finally snapped my streak of getting nothing but does and 1 1/2 year olds that goes all the way back to last season.

Here's to hoping this guy sticks around until fall so I can chase him around the woods with my lion cloth and a sharp stick for some true "fair chase" hunting. :D

And while we're at it, here's a nice little 2 1/2 year old and a my live decoys.

Those particular pics are in Lake County, although I do have a spot in McHenry as well. Too bad they're all being sold and built up with houses fast enough to make your head spin. [:@]

I've lost a ton of spots due to building. I hunted Lake Co. for the last 3 years, great place, but it looks like I'll just be hunting McHenry this year. It's a pretty good place also.

I know the feeling, I had a great spot, almost 60 acres in McHenry county I lost. Lake County has been good to me the past few years, there's alot of sleeper bucks up here!

Nice Buck Justin. I've had the same problem this year. Everytime out in the field I'm seeing some really nice bucks, but can't see to get them on the game cams.
