I don't know. Our aniversary is October 25th. Not very good planning on my part. I blame it on a "rut" that all men fall into when planning a wedding.

Two words that'll cost you big..... "Yes, dear".

I got married the first week in Sept., although I really caught it from the families a couple of years later when I went hunting in VA the same week our first child was due to be born.

I got married the day of opening season and 2 days later saw the biggest buck I have ever seen.Have been chasing him every since.Do wives have the right to get mad at us for doing something we love?

Last fall one of my best friends decided to get married opening weekend of my annual CO elk hunt. I wouldn't of gone, but being best man, I was sort of obligated to attend. Ended up going out west earlier for a bow hunt instead so it worked out alright.
He asked her to marry him during hunting season thinking that she will be in a good mood during that time of year and let him hunt more. Boy was he wrong. Stupid schmuk! He'll have plans every fall now. I tried to tell him.
In case you couldn't guess, I'm still single and hunting.
