group trying to do away with bowing

Hello all, has anyone heard of a group in NC that is trying to do away with bow hunting?

Will never ever happen. When more and more voters are having problems with deer, law makers wouldn't even consider such a thing. Between landscaping issues ( a state you can kill nuisance deer out of season) and all of the accidents with cars, lawmakers would find themselves out of office quickly. Also add in insurance companies. PETA doesn't have enough money.

Probably a group of hardcore vegans. Against hunting regardless of the weapon. Let them eat cake!!!

There are groups that try everyday. And don't believe it won't ever happen. That is the old "ostrich" syndrome. There are groups that fight for our rights, find one and join it. Right now, I am trying to organize an "umbrella" organization, that will basically follow legislative issues, and report things to every outdoor association, so that we, as sportsmen, have a bigger voice. I just read about a group that was trying to do away with bowhunting, so yes. I just can't remember the article.
