Might not hunt this year
 

Well I worked my way up to starting cornerback for my 4A varsity football team and I hurt my elbow yesterday in a scrimmage. I find a tuesday if it's cracked and if i'll have to wear a hard cast.

YUP, let's not count our mortal wounds before we've checked them out. Could be something simple and quick to recover from. Just wait for the results and then do whatever you have to do. Chin up.

I know how you feel. I tore a muscle in my back(went from my shoulder under my scapula to my spine)last year and couldnt bowhunt till the last 2 weeks of the season.

but congrats. Im the guard and linebacker for my team. You have a long time to bowhunt...enjoy your football. and there is always a rifle.

Ah, this is the main reason I opted not to play sports in high school. They interfered with too many hunting seasons.

Good luck with everything though, hopefully its only something minor.

There's always a CROSSBOW!!!!! hunt bowseason with that, you can get the accudraw 50 on the tenpoint.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN ABOUT HUNTING SEASON THIS YEAR. I AM IN THE NAVY AND WILL BE DEPLOYING IN EARLY OCTOBER. I WILL MISS THE ENTIRE SEASON THIS YEAR! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR INJURY.

Sorry to hear about your elbow. My 17 yr old son broke his this spring. He missed all of baseball season. We went with the steel pin suguryoption. By far better than a cast. He was using his arm within a week and is using it at 99% now. The pins come out in October.

I know what you mean I blew up my knee two weeks ago. I was supposed to be leaving for a black bear hunt Friday; I'm not going. I have to see the Ortho Sept. 12th, and I expect to have surgery soon after that, I got a feeling I'll be spending this season as "Camp Cook."

Hey Rebfan78 my son just joined the Navy and will start boot on Sept 27 just 12 days into our bow season. Really sucks because he won't get back until it is all but over. Brother I feel ya. I got a torn abdominal and a left knee. I'm 35 you are 16-17-18. There will be better days. Take care of yourself 1st. Get well soon.
