FeatherLite climbers

I have a FeatherLite "Apache" climber I bought about 8-10 years ago.
It has served Me great (very heavy though).
I did a Web search and cannot find any info on "FeatherLite"
I wanted to check to see if there any saftey concerns with this stand.
It is steel with a square tube "V" bar that goes around the back of the tree, and the threaded studs seem to have "streched" the hand nuts do not clamp the 2 pieces tightley together any more, it kinda "clanks" while climbing.

RE: FeatherLite climbers

I have an older climber with the "v" rack on the back- they're refered to by some as bakers racks, mine I could only climb pines to get a good bite, it would slip in a hardwood. I got a Gorilla climber now with cables. It's light and can climb any tree with it. I like it a lot, and only costs $100.
